DQSH NYC produces storytelling and creative arts programs for children and teens, presented by local drag artists, in libraries, schools, and other community spaces in all five boroughs of New York City, and virtually. Through fun and fabulous educational experiences, their programs celebrate gender diversity and all forms of difference to build empathy and give kids the confidence to express themselves however they feel comfortable.
We have seen the rise of fascist response and violence across the nation and also in our very own backyard at the events hosted by DQSH. We have also seen community step up to defend the right for this space to exist freely without threat of violence, a defense rooted in joy and deep love for all people.
