He has a meeting with the board at 9 o'clock. Taking on investors is a risk. Jobs at stake. Shareholders to mollify.

He's never late. Taps his foot and looks eastward up the track.

Checks his watch again. Never once looks at a phone.

I notice his shirt, too. There's something serious to the collar, in the way it looks ready to play a part in how the meeting goes.
